How Great is our God

Posted: March 5, 2012 in Missions

It’s been an eventful Monday here in Terre Blanche, Haiti. We had our first full day of clinic and things ran pretty smoothly. We started the day off with doing rounds and we saw a mother who had a three day old baby. Mom was extremely sick and baby wasn’t eating. The baby was just [...]

Sunday in Terre Blanche

Posted: March 4, 2012 in Missions

Today has been an eventful day. We started off with a 5 hour church service (beginning with a parade) and ended with doing an “ice breaker” clinic for 2 hours with. We were able to get use to the flow of the clinic and worked out some bugs. Please pray for our team. Pray that [...]

Tonight during debrief we were asked what our first impressions of Haiti were. Dave Zollner answered the question by describing this place as a thin space between heaven and earth. A place where heaven abs earth almost meet. Right after Harold Lota described Haiti as a place that God is close to. Both these men [...]

Where in the world is Jordan Young?

And we’re off…

Posted: July 21, 2011 in Missions

We’re all checked in and waiting for our first flight to leave.  Security was a breeze for most except Leigh who tried to sneak on a machete…ok it was a little swiss army knife but you wouldn’t have known it by securities reaction.  Our first flight is about to board…till next time:

I could be the proudest youth pastor in the world.  Last night I left our 6 students and 2 leaders that were at Youth Quake to pack for our high school trip to Nicaragua.  I have to be honest, it hurt to leave last night.  In 24 hours our team at Youth Quake was gelling [...]
