DEVO Week 15: Leading Powerfully

This past Wednesday Jordan talked about our call as followers of Jesus to lead powerfully. Now, I know that some people don’t believe that they are leaders, or they are just don’t naturally tend towards that. But, whether you think so or not, you lead with the actions you choose. Our actions have an influence on our friends. Even if you don’t do anything, you are influencing the people around you. If your friends are doing something you don’t agree with and you don’t say anything, you are silently condoning it.
God wants us to influence and lead people to Him. If we lead with our actions and we act like Jesus then we can be leaders with Love and not force.
1. Read through these verses: Proverbs 3:5-6, Proverbs 28:16, Hebrews 13:7.
2. Write down some ways that your actions are leading others. Are they leading others, or are you not taking any kind of action?
3. Take some time with God in prayer and ask for guidance in ways to become the leader that God wants you to be.
